The meditative technique of Yoga Nidra will help you do just that! Yoga Nidra is one of the best researched meditative technique that promotes deep relaxation physically, mentally and emotionally and it's easy to practice with the proper guidance.

This workshop is a series of 4 X 75min classes conducted via Zoom, beginning Tuesday October 6th at 8pm EST.

and Tuesday October 27th at 8pm EST

All classes will be recorded.

The classes are a step-by-step guide to the 8 stages of Yoga Nidra. They provide you with the knowledge and techniques that promote relaxation, energy and psychological and emotional balance.

The Purpose of the Classes

If you do not cope with stress in a healthy way, you will get stuck in a state of fight, flight, freeze or fold. As a result, cortisol hormones surge into your blood stream triggering high levels of inflammation. Increased levels of inflammation is the reason why you're experiencing various symptoms from weight gain to allergies, insomnia or increase LDL cholesterol.

If you're able to stop the sympathetic nervous system from overreacting and allow the body's innate ability to relax, then you can keep these symptoms at bay. And have more energy, creativity, feel more grounded and even keeled. The key is to consciously turn your relaxation switch on.

The Turn Your Relaxation Switch On classes aim to help you maintain a balanced and relaxed state physically, mentally and emotionally no matter what life throws at you! You train your body and mind to systematically cope with stress and distress. The science of Yoga Nidra will provide a solid knowledge for you to understand how the technique works.

With this knowledge you'll understand how your body-mind is affected by stress. As a result you'll have more self-compassion and less self-judgement.

Combined with the practice, you will have the skills to cope with stress in a healthy way, you'll gain your motivation back, increase your creativity, have more energy, feel grounded and balanced.
